In this issue’s Inside Mister B, we take a look at one of our Mister B Concept Stores – our preferred fetish retailers that carry a vast (pun intended) majority of the Mister B assortment. The Mister B experience is the same as you would have at one of our Brand Stores in Amsterdam, Antwerp and Berlin. One of our Mister B Concept Stores is VAST, the place to be in Dortmund for all your fetish gear. VAST recently changed location, and Jens Vogt (he/him), one of the owners, will tell you all about what has changed and what people can expect at the new location.
“Just 350 metres from our previous location, on the same street but with a different name, you can find the new location – where the underground runs above ground and stops almost directly in front of the shop. The old location had an industrial loft style which delighted the customers. We housed there for eighteen successful years, but in the meantime, we were bothered by a few details that we couldn’t change. There was only one toilet, the building was not isolated, and being distributed over two floors, it was not suitable for the disabled.
What customers didn’t see was our limited space for production. We had exhausted all possibilities, but we weren’t able to accommodate successful production we had intended. We postponed the decision to move for several years, but then we received notice of termination because of the building being demolished, making space for housing. So, that was the moment for us to make a change.
We have been very lucky with our new location. The new shop is completely on the same level, and we were able to make everything larger and more attractive than in the original shop. There is a full rear building divided over five areas, with over 650 square metres of fetish gear and toys. Plus, we now have all the space we need for our own production!
At VAST, we start to produce our own extraordinary latex collection. Pattern creation with 3D software and precise cutting with a huge laser cutter offers us an enormous advantage compared to the traditional way of working. Created in the 3D printing process, VAST Breathing presents completely new possibilities of breath control. And as an engineer with a lot of experience in this area, I can fully contribute.
We are proud to be a Mister B Concept Store. The customers have high expectations of their shopping experience with us, and now, almost six months after the reopening, we have more customers than ever before.
