Our thoughts, feelings, and actions are all affected by our mental well-being. It is, therefore, crucial to take care of our mental health. Self-care is a great place to start, but sometimes we need a little extra help. The stigma surrounding mental health can sometimes make it challenging to accept that we need or deserve help. Either we tell ourselves, ‘I can handle this myself’ or ‘There are people far worse off that need help’. Whether you’re feeling anxious, depressed, lonely or burned out at work, it is your prerogative to seek counselling or therapy. Therefore WINGS have compiled a list of mental health helplines that are there to get you through. Just look for your country and then click on the link below.

- Where possible, we have referred you to LGBTQ+ mental health helplines; however, keep in mind this tailored option does not exist currently in all countries.
- The helplines in this list are not only focused solely on suicide prevention. We have selected helplines that are there to support you emotionally regardless of your mental health condition.
- Our main goal was to offer affordable mental health support. Therefore the majority of the helplines are free of charge, however, in some cases, there may be some small caller fees charged.
