From Concept to Reality: The Birth of Sublim-X
Can you tell us a bit about the history of Sublim-X and how it partnered with Mister B?
It all started in October 2023, when we noticed that access to quality fetish products was becoming more difficult in Oslo. As active members of the queer, gay leather, and fetish communities, we felt a responsibility to ensure that Oslo’s kink scene had a reliable place to shop.
From the very beginning, Mister B was an essential partner. Their reputation and influence in the Norwegian gay and fetish community made them a natural choice. In June 2024, we officially opened Sublim-X at Oslo Pride, and the response has been incredible.
The name Sublim-X is no coincidence. ‘Sublime’ refers to something exalted, transcendent, and powerful, while ‘X’ symbolises the unknown and undiscovered. We aim to provide a space where people can explore, discover, and push boundaries.
What was it like having a Mister B shop-in-shop before transitioning into a full-on concept store?
The transition was quite natural! From day one, we stocked a wide range of Mister B products, and we quickly met the criteria to become an official Mister B Concept Store. This means stronger marketing support, closer collaboration, and more access to exclusive product training from the Mister B team.
