The Nest – it is a nest in which a baby bird is born, grows and gets stronger, in which it learns how to live and from which it will fly out soon. In this first and most important period of life, the nest is a shelter and home, a place of warmth and security. The example of such nest is The Nest for lost people, for those who look for answers to difficult questions about who they are and how they want to live, it is a program for those who wish to share their story and those who would like to find their place in the world.
REFFORM Foundation for Health Promotion, Social Ties Building and Counteracting Exclusions and Discrimination holds the program called The Nest to implement the effective psychotherapeutic help system, to provide financial assistance to cover all or part of costs of appointments with the psychotherapist after specific conditions have been met.
The program was created by persons who have been influencing the fetish business in Poland, as well as organizing fetish events and fetish-promoting actions. This group includes an entrepreneur, artist and IT specialist. Two of them won best prizes in the world of fetish contests (Mister Leather Poland and Mister Rubber Poland who also won the title of International Mister Rubber – MIR21). One of them – Maciej Chojnacki (Mister Leather Poland 2016) passed away in July, this year, but aside from beautiful memories of a man full of passion for theater and art, he left behind a logo of The Nest program he made himself. Since July, this year, by way of the resolution of the Management Board of the Foundation, The Nest has been named after Maciej Chojnacki.
As part of The Nest program, the Foundation cooperates with Mirosław Sikora, Dominik Haak, Dariusz Jundziłł and 2 legal advisers.
At present the Program is attended by 13 persons, 3 of whom actively participate in the appointments and take legal advice.
The ambassador of the The Nest Program and its first volunteer is Kamil – Mister Rubber Poland 2018 (see picture) who has been actively promoting the program, coordinating actions of The Nest, supporting organization of initiatives and public collections, urging and publishing on the website of The Nest https://thenest.org.pl/ since the outset of the program. Another volunteer is Przemek – Mister Rubber Poland 2019. The Nest is present in all multi-fetish events and team-building meetings. As an institution operating in the field of public benefit, REFFORM Foundation launched the dedicated bank account to settle its business under The Nest program.
